We celebrated our favorite guy, played outside a lot, went on a lot of “adventure” walks around our neighborhood, painted and Ellie got a keyboard and learned to play Mary Had a Little Lamb. Oh, and the girls danced and sang, of course :).

We went on a weekend getaway in August of 2020 to Anacortes as a little birthday celebration for Josh and for our anniversary. We found a house right on the beach that we got to explore with almost no one in sight. We saw an eagle fly over our heads (unfortunately that was not captured), we spent each evening tossing rocks into our little beach cove, we explored the area a little and ate ice cream. The girls loved exploring the beach, as did I. I always feel most at peace near the water.
