Ellie has become an earth lover, wanting to help the earth in whatever way she can. She is part of a group at school called “Green Group” where they come up with ways to help the earth and try to spread the word. She found out about an organization called One Tree Planted where they plant trees in different places on the earth with donations. She used some of her own birthday money to donate to the organization so that they could plant more trees in the Amazon Rainforest. She has since donated a couple more times and intends to donate more in the future. I love that she gets so passionate about certain things and I love that she has chosen to help in some way. I could not be prouder of our little tree hugger :). When she donated she made herself this certificate before she got a more official one from the organization.
