“Oh, great. Mom’s got the camera out again. Better look away or do something weird so she won’t take a picture.” Or at least, that’s what I imagine she says in her head every time I try to take a picture. The most willing participant in my family is Lila, but even that is hard because she’s so fast. My grandiose ideas of photo shoots went out the window a long time ago when I realized how hard it is to take pictures of kids that really don’t want you to. I don’t even make them do anything usually. They just make sure I can’t get a good one. So you get this picture of Ellie eating lunch in some nice light. You know, the every day things ☺️.

happy halloween.
Ellie found a dinosaur tail and headband at Target and said she wanted to just wear that for Halloween. Of course, then I had to complete the costume :). Lila was supposed to be a dog because she loves dogs, but she wouldn’t let me put the furry costume on her. Every time Ellie wore her dinosaur tail and headband Lila wanted to wear it too so we went and picked up a set for Lila. She wants to do everything her sister is doing so it worked out perfectly to do a family-themed costume. Josh and I went as characters from the original Jurassic Park movie (we only got one picture taken by someone at his work). It was fun taking the girls out trick-or-treating. Lila wanted to be a part of it, but only if I held her haha.
