They were obsessed with the Spirit show on Netflix just before Halloween so naturally they wanted to dress up as characters from the show. Ellie went as Lucky, the main girl character from the show and Lila went as Spirit the horse. We did a candy hunt at home and walked around the neighborhood trick-or-treating only at homes that left bowls of candy out so that we could safely socially distance. It was actually very fun and the girls loved it like any other Halloween.

That feeling when the leaves first start falling… the girls love raking them up and jumping in the piles, even if the piles are super tiny. They act like they’re huge. I don’t love raking all the leaves, but I love watching them have the most fun with something so simple ❤️.
